The game Heavy Rain immerses you in a dark and thick atmosphere of mystery and uncertainty. This detective story tells about a murderer named Origami Killer who became famous for his cruelty and elusiveness. The criminal received such a romantic nickname due to his distinctive feature — he left paper figures called origami at crime scenes.
You are free to investigate these mysterious crimes by choosing one of four unique characters. Each of the protagonists has its own background, motives, as well as distinctive features that affect both the course of the investigation and the methods of conducting it. However, each of the characters has a chance to stop the bloodthirsty monster with their own methods.
In the game, you will not only have to use your brains, look for clues, and compare fragmentary information about the criminal and his dark deeds but also to actively undertake actions that require reaction and composure. Moreover, each of your actions affects the outcome of the further storyline of the game, making its completion completely nonlinear. So you may well be able to complete the game several times, getting different endings and a new look at the entire story.
